About

During the pandemic in 2020, I went on a 5-day quest to get my toes in the sand of as many Chesapeake Bay sandy beaches as I could (32 beaches). Ok, it's true, I did cheat on my beloved Chesapeake one day and ventured to nearby Delaware Bay, which is also a wonderful place to explore. It was so much fun, I went again in 2021 (37 beaches), 2022 (31 beaches), 2023 (23 beaches), 2024 (13 beaches) and 2025 (11 beaches). Follow along on my adventures to all 147 beaches here!
